The GCW Tour, Spain & Morocco: A Lesson in Time

I have learned that Barcelona is built for the niece, not for me. This is to say, while you can easily buy groceries -- or anything else -- at 2:00 am in Barcelona, there isn't a whole lot open at 8:00 am. All I wanted was some cream for my coffee, and it took a fair bit of searching to find a "supermarket" (i.e., a convenience store) that was open. As I walked around, most of the places that actually bothered to post hours listed 10:00 am as when they opened.

So I think we'll be living more by the niece's schedule than mine for this part of the trip, at least.

And with that, after killing an hour or so this morning, we're off to Montjuic.
