After three days of limited walking and limited standing, my feet are more or less back to where they were before I tried to paint the ceiling in the wonder room. This is to say, they're still a bundle of terrible side effects, but I can at least move from place to place.
I figured out the best way to paint a ceiling when dealing with neuropathy: get someone else to do it. Sib4 was nice enough to come down on Saturday to paint the ceiling, leaving me to (slowly) paint the walls and trim. She also helped me move some furniture around, so that once the painting is complete the wonder room can be put to actual use.
I'm not sure if it's cancer, allergies, or something else, but now my head is a mess. My sinuses won't stop draining, my eyes continue to hurt, there's some weird thing going on in my mouth, and I've got a constant headache. I know, I know, complain, complain, complain. But what's the phrase they use? Oh yeah, it's getting in the way of day to day life.
But I guess as long as it doesn't get in the way of Spain, I'll survive.
