Here's my "fly." It was driving me crazy so I took a picture so I could better see what's going on. And now that I can see what I'm dealing with, and compare what I've got to the descriptions of mouth sores on various chemotherapy websites, I think it's fair to say that this is what's going on.

I started the Xeloda because it was supposed to keep the cancer at bay while allowing me to actually live my life -- i.e., do my job and travel to exotic places. I'm growing less and less impressed with it on a daily basis. We'll see what my five week break does, but if it doesn't do something I may be looking at a re-evaluation of my treatment options.
Sorry about picture, but it's a cancer blog and cancer, as they say, isn't pretty. But I do hope you weren't eating while you read this.
