The GCW Tour, Buenos Aires & Antarctica: Cruising

Today's events began with a cruise. This time my number was called and so I got to go out in one of the polar cruising boats. These are like extra large zodiacs with fixed seats for twelve people plus a driver and a guide. They give you an extra heavy waterproof suit, which you pull on over your normal gear, and then you go bounce around on the waves for ninety minutes or so looking for icebergs and penguins.

We found them.

And this hour and a half made the entire trip worthwhile.
