The GCW Tour, Buenos Aires & Antarctica: Cuverville Island

Today was a low energy day, which was good in that for some reason I didn't sleep at all last night. In the morning we had a landing at Cuverville Island, then the afternoon was spent sailing down to our next destination. We're nearing the end of the line. Tomorrow we will be as far south as we're going to get (approximately 65 degrees, for those who might be tracking).

Today's landing was fun in that the only place we could come ashore was right in the middle of the penguins' major pathway, so we kept having to wait to allow the penguins to go through. The down side is that the weather and my camera were not really getting along, so rather than having hundreds of pictures to choose from, I only had a few dozen.

But maybe everyone's getting tired of ice and penguins. If that's you, no worries. One more week and I'll be done with penguins and back to getting -- and writing about -- chemo infusions.

Personally, I prefer the penguins. So here are a few more from Cuverville Island...
