This is my blog about my cancer ("my cancer," like it's a pet or a hobby). I'm starting it because I'm fairly lazy and repeating the same stories over and over as friends and family ask about the latest development seems really inefficient. This also gives everyone access to the same source material, thus minimizing the "telephone" problem. We'll see if it works and how long I bother to keep it up...

The GCW Tour, Buenos Aires & Antarctica: I See Dead People
One of the places I visited today was the Recoleta Cemetery. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. This was a vast neighborhood of above ground crypts, organized like most of the surrounding neighborhoods were living people reside. It was really quite beautiful, and if it wasn't for the fact that I was hot and exhausted and my head was burning -- five winter hats for Antarctica, but forgot the one that covers my bald noggin when the sun comes out -- I would've spent more time traversing the alleys.
