A Brief Metaphorical Play About My Day

Two individuals are sitting in a cabin on a large ship. A sound is heard.

Individual 1: Did I just hear a clunk?
Individual 2 (looking out the porthole): Yup.
Individual 1: Boats don't go clunk. Why did this one just go clunk?
Individual 2 (still looking out): We hit something.
Individual 1: Hit something? What did we hit?
Individual 2: Iceberg.
Individual 1: Iceberg?! We hit an iceberg?! 

There is a momentary pause as the two individuals contemplate their fate.

Individual 1: What was the name of this ship again?

And that is pretty much how my day went.
