For those wondering how a cancer patient lives, here's the rundown on my weekend which will at least tell you how this cancer patient lives...
Friday, 6 pm - 10 pm -- Sleep
Friday, 10 pm - 1 am -- Watch TV
Saturday, 1 am - 11 am -- Sleep
Saturday, 11 am - 3 pm -- Paint the bathroom trim in alternating twenty minute rounds of painting and sitting
Saturday, 3 pm - 4:30 pm -- Sleep
Saturday, 4:30 pm - 10 pm -- Have dinner and hang out with Sib4 and her family
Saturday, 10 pm - midnight -- Watch TV
Sunday, midnight - noon -- Sleep
Sunday, noon - 1 pm -- Drink coffee
Sunday, 1 pm - 3 pm -- Paint the bathroom in those same alternating rounds
Sunday, 3 pm - 5 pm -- Sleep
Sunday, 5 pm - 9 pm -- Laundry
Sunday, 9 pm - midnight -- Eat, drink, watch TV, surf, blog, etc.
Sunday, midnight - 6:30 am -- Sleep
This, of course, is not a normal weekend, but, increasingly, it's normal for me. The chemo pills were supposed to be easier to deal with, but once they accumulate the impact is almost as bad as the infusions. And they've definitely accumulated.
Or maybe I'm just depressed. It's certainly possible. Infusions, pills, depression -- cancer brings them all.
