Ignorance Is Not Bliss

There's a week until my next scan and the corresponding oncology consult. Given the growing tumor found during my lung scan, I can't say I'm expecting particularly good news. Combined with the fact that the accumulated drugs are starting to have a serious impact on my day to day life, I'm currently operating from a fairly negative space. 

And who wants to read a bunch of posts from a negative space? 

But Fight Club is tomorrow, and by and large they're a pretty optimistic group, so maybe I'll learn something interesting there that will change my outlook. If not, posting may be light until next Tuesday when I get the results from my scan and find out what, if anything, can be done about the current state of the side effects.

Unless, of course, I read something cool on the elevator.
