The adventure won't start until Tuesday when I find out what the scan revealed.
This is my blog about my cancer ("my cancer," like it's a pet or a hobby). I'm starting it because I'm fairly lazy and repeating the same stories over and over as friends and family ask about the latest development seems really inefficient. This also gives everyone access to the same source material, thus minimizing the "telephone" problem. We'll see if it works and how long I bother to keep it up...

And Once Again, We Scan
Well, tomorrow's scan day. Mostly this just means I have to dodge out of work for two hours to go sit at the SCCA, spend an hour slowly sucking down contrast agent, hope they can get my port to work, sit in the scanner for the three minutes it takes to perform the scan, and then sit in the waiting from for another half an hour or so while they make sure that I haven't suddenly developed an allergy to the contrast agent despite the fact that this will be the seventh or eight time they've given it to me.
