The Hungarian Parliament building is the sort of place that can restore one's faith in government. I would be that if you dropped this building amongst a group of neanderthals living in caves, and gave them a week or two to occupy it, you'd likely come back to find that they'd invented constitutional democracy all on their own.
It's that nice a building. Of course, for thirty-three years the government that occupied it rolled up to the Soviet Union, so what do I know.
But it's still an awfully nice parliament building. Here are some pics...
