Missed It by a Day

I meant to post a Happy Winter Solstice* message last night, but I fell asleep. 

So, instead, "Happy (the Day After the) Winter Solstice." 







* The Winter Solstice is something of a big deal if you live in Seattle. As nice as the summers are, with daylight that lasts until 10:00, the winters -- with their eight hours of sunlight -- sort of suck. Getting to work when it's dark and leaving work when it's dark doesn't leave you feeling like there's much else to your days besides work. But now the days are getting longer. Yay!
