This is my blog about my cancer ("my cancer," like it's a pet or a hobby). I'm starting it because I'm fairly lazy and repeating the same stories over and over as friends and family ask about the latest development seems really inefficient. This also gives everyone access to the same source material, thus minimizing the "telephone" problem. We'll see if it works and how long I bother to keep it up...

Crafts!
One of my co-workers owns one of those funky home cutter stamps that creates shapes and letters, and at some point she began using it to create signs to put up in people's cubicles workstations saying "Happy Birthday," "Congratulations" or whatever, depending on the event. The last few legs of the GCW Tour have resulted in some "Welcome Back" signs, and at some point I stopped taking them down. Apparently, this has generated some entertainment, so today I came in to an "Hasta La Vista" sign, and three very amused co-workers. One said I should post a picture on my blog. Ergo:
I have to say, the little die cutter thing is pretty cool. I'd hate to have to try to create one of those signs with scissors. Thanks, ladies. The signs -- and the underlying effort -- are much appreciated.
