Random Cancer Humor

I was bored, and I just thought these were funny. And not to be critical, but I'm not sure the copywriter who came up with the throat cancer warnings ought to be waiting for a call from the MacArthur Foundation, unless, of course, that was intentional, in which case that person operates at a level of subtlety way beyond mine.

    I love these, especially the Marlboro Man ad, which makes me laugh every time I see it. Glad to see that cancer hasn't brightened your sense of humor, because humor is like coffee, chocolate and rum--the darker, the better.

      It was the lung-deficient Marlboro man who got me started. There's an office facing the street near my bus stop that has it in the window. I was surprised to learn it's from a California PSA campaign, so there are lots of Marlboro men making snarky comments about smoking, but I still like this one about the lung best.
