The GCW Tour, A Few Bits of the UK and Ireland: Edinburgh

I shall have to just concede that Edinburgh is a nice place to visit. There are certainly enough tourists here to suggest that to be true. But I can't really testify to that fact myself, as Edinburgh was where my cancer decided it's had enough of travel.

In the catalog of questions that my PA continually asks me, the answers to two of them have now significantly changed:

Can you climb a flight of stairs? The answer used to be "slowly, but yes." Now the answer is "not on anything faster than a geologic time scale."

Any dizziness, disorientation, sense of the room spinning? The answer used to be "no." Now the answer is "now that you mention it yes, but it mostly happens outside."

We started the day at the Edinburgh Castle, and less than an hour in I was done for the day. So I sat on a bench until the boys were done, and then I went back to the hotel and they went off to explore alone. So I can't really say much about Edinburgh.

We've got three more days until we get on a plane, and in all of those days I'll be driving us back to Heathrow by way of Hadrian's wall, the moors, Cambridge and Windsor Castle.

Here's hoping it all goes better then Edinburgh...
